The 4 Stages of Offset Printing with MCRL
From File to Finished Product
Whether you're printing a book, journal, planner, or custom project, MCRL Overseas Group makes the process smooth, predictable, and professional.
Our 9-step process is grouped into 4 clear stages, ensuring high-quality results and a seamless client experience.
A. PrePress
This is where your journey begins. You submit your print-ready files, and MCRL’s expert team carefully reviews them for any technical issues. If anything could affect the final product, like formatting errors or low-resolution images, we’ll let you know. Catching these early ensures a strong start.
B. Physical Bound Proof
Once your files are approved, you will receive a bound proof within 2 weeks. All MCRL quotes include a hard copy proof of your project. This gives you the opportunity to review and make any changes before production begins. It’s especially valuable for Kickstarter or pre-sale campaigns, where a physical sample can be photographed and used for pre-launch marketing.
C. Production
We prepare your files and set up the offset press. Once printing begins, our team monitors quality throughout the process. After printing, we complete post-press assembly, including binding, trimming, and packaging.
MCRL’s high-quality offset printing ensures sharp detail, vibrant color, and a professional finish.
D. Shipping
Once your order is complete, we’ll notify you and ship it out. Sea shipping is the default quote option and more cost-effective, while air shipping is available for tighter timelines. We now offer expedited sea shipping for print runs of 300 to 1000 books.
