Board books are popular with young children because the size fits perfectly in little hands AND the print materials are safe for babies to explore with their mouths.
If you’re printing a board book,
here are a few important things to know.
You’ll Need an Offset Printer
An offset printer with the right equipment and experience is needed to produce board books that do not warp. There is no bookstore quality, cost-effective option for printing boards books through print-on-demand services.

Board books are produced by gluing printed pages onto 40pt (most common), 60pt, 80pt or 100pt WHITE or GREY board

Typical Page Count
A board book typically has 8 to 12 sheets. Note: 1 Sheet = 2 Pages (front and back).

We strongly recommend producing your board book with rounded corners to prevent injuries.
