Common questions

Why do you use uncoated paper for planners and journals?

Uncoated offset paper is recommended as you can write on the pages. Coated paper is better for illustrations and graphic-heavy books that are not intended to be written in.

What weights of coated paper do you use?

Most illustrated books use 80lb to 105lb coated paper, in gloss or matte. For children's picture books, 80lb gloss suits books of 32 pages or more, and 105lb gloss is the premium choice for books under 32 pages.
